The last two weeks Lisa, her parents and I have been in Ethiopia. It's her other home, as she's lived there for a total of 9 years, gone to elementary school and lived in places like Arba Minch and Yir galem. To use the new GMail Java app for cell phones, the language in GMail must be set to English/US. With the Norwegian language, it displays a weird error message about data communcation or some such.

Now it's back to work and fall is neah. Have had a good summer, have driven 4000 km around or about 2500 miles around Norway, Sweden and Denmark. Tried windsurfing, went camping, saw various tourist sites around Norway and just generally...didn't work or think about work. I have plenty of pics, will post some in the gallery.

Referring to the front page of asdf.no and previous blargh blog entry, we managed to fix the radiator fans on my Peugeot 406. My boi Lars who had done this before when he had the same car, only a sedan, was the chief surgeon and it took us 6.5 hours to take off, fix, put back the front of the car to gain access to the fans. I have troubles with my car, a 1997 Peugeot 406 with a 2 liter 155 hp turbo engine. It's overheating because the radiator fans aren't working properly. There's also a strange vibrating sound. Last Tuesday, Summer came to Norway. We've had 20 C, blue skies and sun. The leaves and plants have exploded in green and put on their coats. Had a great weekend. Met friend with new girl friend and played Settlers. Fun fun. Our bathroom soon has tiles on all walls. It's starting to look very good! Watched Broken Flowers. Marius and I went to a boat in the Oslo harbor called MS Innvik. It's a place to see cultural events, theatre, small concerts etc. We went there yesterday to hear Zimbabwian music and Mozambique dance. It was a good time. Check small video clip.
